You arrived.

So why doesn't it feel the way you thought it would?

Counselling-informed coaching for newly arrived migrants, for the quiet part of settling that no one warns you about.

Does this sound like you?

By day, your mind is full: the interview you're hoping for, the kids' school, how expensive the groceries are.

But at night, a different feeling shows up. The one you never talk about. It keeps you awake, and a new day starts before you've rested. Tired. Rushed. Busy. Somehow unfulfilled.

A longing for the past, which is in the past.

And a longing for the future, which is just. out. of. reach.

If you recognise this, you're not failing at settling. You're in the part no one warned you about. And it's the part we're here for.

About Tez

Hi, I'm Tez - the person you'd be talking to.

I'm a migrant myself. I've lived and worked across five continents, so I know from the inside what it is to leave one life and try to grow a new one in unfamiliar ground.

I hold a degree in psychology and postgraduate training in counselling, and I've spent years working alongside people navigating some of the hardest kinds of change - displacement, upheaval, starting over. Take Root Global brings that experience to a quieter, often unspoken struggle: the one that begins after you arrive.

This work is counselling-informed coaching. It isn't therapy, and it isn't about being broken - you're not. It's about remembering the strength that got you here, and using it to build a life that can genuinely become yours.

If any of this sounds like you, I'd love to talk.
